Rita’s Farm

Rita Kelman has been growing organic herbs and vegetables in Wallacia for almost 20 years. Join Rita and her daughter Christina Kelman for this farm tour, tasting and workshop, as they share their knowledge and passion for organic farming. Experience Rita’s farm and taste Sydney’s very best organic produce. Come prepared with sun protection, warm clothing, and comfortable shoes.

About Rita’s Farm

A migrant from rural China, Rita Kelman became interested in organics and started her own farm growing chemical free vegetables from her backyard in Kemps Creek in 2005. Having previously worked as a Chinese translator for the local council, supporting Chinese market gardeners in the Sydney Basin, she learnt how to farm from these growers. Enterprising and passionate, Rita continues to educate the community on organic farming.
