Powerhouse Castle Hill has adopted the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower to help support and raise awareness of those living with a hidden disability. Free lanyards and wristbands are available from reception.

OPEN FOR PRE-BOOKED TOURS AND GENERAL ADMISSION

Located on Gadigal land, a national place of connection and scientific research. The site is undergoing heritage conservation works.

About Sydney Observatory

Accessibility

As a heritage site Sydney Observatory has some accessibility limitations.

Visitors requiring wheelchair access can experience Sydney Observatory gardens and the ground floor of the Astronomer's Residence. There is no wheelchair access to locations visited during Sydney Observatory Tours or Family Tours due to narrow and steep staircases in the heritage-listed buildings.

We encourage visitors with accessibility requirements to contact us via book@powerhouse.com.au or (02) 9217 0222 for help in planning your visit. Sydney Observatory accepts Companion Cards.
