Public Interest Disclosures

The Public Interest Disclosures Act 2022 (PID Act) applies to all NSW public sector agencies. It provides a framework for public officials to report serious wrongdoing in the public sector, and to be protected when they do so.

Protection of Cultural Objects on Loan Scheme

The Australian Government’s Protection of Cultural Objects on Loan Scheme (PCOL Scheme) administers the Commonwealth Protection of Cultural Objects on Loan Act 2013 (the Act). The Act was established to encourage international lenders to lend works for temporary public exhibition in Australia.

Powerhouse and PCOL

Powerhouse is an approved borrowing institution under the Protection of Cultural Objects on Loan Act and is responsible for upholding the integrity of the PCOL Scheme, ensuring best practice procedures are followed on each borrowing occasion.
