Intergenerational groups will code and drive miniature mBot rovers using block coding and iPads. Participants will be guided to code and race the mBots, no prior coding experience necessary. Just like the Mars rovers Curiosity and Perseverance, the mBots use inbuilt sensors to avoid obstacles and help the robot to ‘think’ for itself.

This 2-hour family-friendly workshop is designed to encourage conversations between young learners and adults that will establish a framework for learning to continue at home.
