Teacher Academy

Powerhouse Teacher Academy offers an immersive program of workshops, tours and interactive experiences for teachers in New South Wales to connect with the world beyond the classroom, to gain practical skills, strategies and inspiration to enrich their teaching practice.

The Teacher Academy highlights interdisciplinary approaches, fostering connections between science, technology, arts and culture, while demonstrating how creativity and innovation can be integrated into everyday teaching. Teachers and industry professionals will be invited to preview Powerhouse exhibitions and learning programs in development for Powerhouse Parramatta opening in 2026.

The program occurs once per term, launching in Week 9 of Term 1, 2026 and brings together a cross-section of educators, industry professionals and cultural institutions.
