Architectural Photography Commission

A unique opportunity for Australian photographers to undertake an architectural photography commission that aims to develop new perspectives on Australian architecture and the built environment.

Powerhouse Photography is an annual program dedicated to amplifying Australian photography and lens-based practice through programs, commissions, acquisitions, publications and learning. Powerhouse Photography is supported by funds generously donated by the Australian Centre for Photography.

Powerhouse invited EOIs from both emerging and established photographers working across all fields of practice. Applications were sought from photographers with experience producing architectural photographs and/or lens-based architectural projects with a focus on construction, urban development, housing, infrastructure and sustainability.

The successful applicant will be engaged to develop and deliver the commission in collaboration with Powerhouse. It is anticipated that the commission will be produced over a period of up to 12 months. The terms of the commitment will be flexible to accommodate the photographer’s continued professional practice.
