Join us for the launch of Powerhouse Materials: Paper with renowned children’s author Andy Griffiths, the mastermind behind the best-selling book series Just! And the Treehouse series.

See Andy’s selection of Powerhouse Collection objects and meet Andy in person for a talk and Q&A. He’s promised to answer all questions truthfully but, be warned, if he doesn’t know the answer he’ll just make something up.

Powerhouse Materials is a new series exploring the Powerhouse Collection through the lens of a guest curator and a chosen material.

A behind the scenes look at the Powerhouse paper collection and the Collection storage spaces where we house over 500,000 objects. Recommended for adults and children over 10 years of age.

Self-Guided Activity 10am–3pm
Pick up a free, self-guided activity book, designed in collaboration with Andy. It’s filled with creative prompts and challenges for visitors to develop their own illustrations and stories inspired by the exhibition.
