The admission price is for the 7 week program.
Lunar Academy is a distinctive after-school program for Years 10 and 11 students interested in further studies of physics and astronomy.
The seven-week program, produced by Powerhouse Academy at Sydney Observatory, will connect students with industry experts in the areas of Sky Country, navigation, astrography and observational astronomy.
Students will explore the Southern Sky through advanced scientific and cultural perspectives and learn to operate the Observatory's telescopes.
To be considered for this program please submit an Expression of Interest by Monday 23 March 2026.
Applicants will be notified via email by Thursday 2 April 2026.
Students will be placed into Wednesday or Thursday stream based on preference with each stream limited to 20 students.
