Designed for senior high school students aged 14–18.
Registered learners should attend all three days of the workshop for a comprehensive learning experience. Tickets are valid for all 3 days.
iPads and software will be provided. Please bring your own lunch and reusable water bottles. Refill stations are available at the venue.
Generate, test and transform visual ideas in this immersive 3-day workshop led by Powerhouse Residents Dinalie Dabarera, Nell and the Australian Graphic Design Association. Designed for high school learners in Year 9–12 (ages 14–18) this hands-on workshop focuses on building practical skills in illustration and communication design.
Learners will develop original characters, construct visual environments, and apply core design principles such as layout, hierarchy and typography. Through drawing, experimentation and refinement, participants will shape their visual ideas into clear and considered outcomes.
