Generations
Generations Western Sydney Music Fellowship connects Western Sydney contemporary musical talent with established industry leaders and mentors to create pathways in the music industry.

Generations is a fellowship program in partnership with Create NSW, Powerhouse Museum, Blacktown Arts and Vyva Entertainment to support artist development across the music industry in NSW.
The next stage of the fellowship will focus on Western Sydney to find the three talented contemporary musicians who will take their musical careers to new heights through the six-month 2024 Generations – Western Sydney Music (Early Career) Fellowship residencies. Valued at $100,000, each fellow will be provided with $25,000 in financial support, in-kind support with studio space in Blacktown, and industry mentoring and networking facilitated by Vyva Entertainment for the duration of each residency.
Current Fellow

Introducing gemma ylana (formerly Gemma Navarrete), a Chilean/Italian artist hailing from Western Sydney. Drawing inspiration from artists like PinkPantheress, Ariana Grande and Kali Uchis, gemma fuses the sounds of RnB, pop and reggaeton with an introspective, honest lyricism that reflects the ebbs and flows of young adulthood.
