Research Scholars
Powerhouse offers annual programs to researchers interested in exploring the collection for the purposes of creative practice or academic research.
The scholars program enables researchers to access Powerhouse resources to support their research over a 12-month period up to December 2025. Scholars will initiate and develop collaborative research and facilitate interaction with Powerhouse. Research scholars are expected to make a tangible contribution to Powerhouse including participation in the Powerhouse annual Research Scholars symposium held in November each year.

Application Process
To apply please submit the following:
- Project title
- Project short summary
- Project summary
- The proposed outcomes of your research and how will they benefit Powerhouse
- Select up to 12 objects from the Powerhouse Collection that you are interested in researching and list them in order of priority
- A two page CV detailing your education, past research and work history relevant to your application
- Preferred date for commencement
- Contact details.

Applicants will propose a research project to contribute to programming at Powerhouse Parramatta.
